国際的な舞台経験と独自の芸術性で、ダンス・演出・振付の分野で幅広く活動。トルコ・エディルネで出会ったロマ（ジプシー）の踊りに衝撃を受け、ベリーダンスを基盤とした独自の表現スタイルを確立。
2017年、カンヌ国際映画祭にて行われたマイケル・ジャクソンとネルソン・マンデラが発起人を務める「Adventure of Humanity & World Peace Night 2017」にゲストパフォーマーとして出演。前アルジェリア大使をはじめとする国際的要人からも高い評価を受け、 トルコ、モナコ、フランス、韓国、中国に招致されステージに立つ。
国内ではリッツ・カールトンやハイアットなど五つ星ホテルでのパフォーマンス、Fuji Rock Festival出演、テレビ・映像作品での振付や出演（『ダウンタウンDX』『CDTV』『セクシー田中さん』など）、アーティストとのコラボレーションなど、多方面で実績を重ねる。
2015年よりオリジナル舞台公演の制作を開始。脚本・演出・振付を一手に担い、ジャンルを横断する多様なアーティストとともに、ダンス・演劇・音楽が詩的に交差する幻想的なステージを構築。2025年には女優・酒井法子デビュー記念ライブの演出を担当。
劇場公演のための音楽制作・ディレクションを契機に、楽団「The Far East Orchestra」を結成。バルカン、ジプシー、アラブ、民謡など辺境音楽を取り入れたライブパフォーマンスを展開し、Tokyo Night Marketや味園ユニバースなど各地で演奏とダンスを融合させたシアトリカルな表現を行う。
プロフェッショナルとして通用するダンサーの育成と並行し、ベリーダンスの癒しの力に焦点を当て自己肯定感や内面的な美しさを引き出すレッスンを通じて、年齢・職業を問わず多様な女性たちをエンパワーする。主宰スタジオ「Exo Follies Studio」は、自己表現と心身の解放の場として高い支持を得ている。

With international stage experience and a distinctive artistic voice, India Nakamura works across dance, direction, and choreography. She developed her unique style based on belly dance after being deeply moved by the Roma (Gypsy) dances she encountered in Edirne, Turkey.
In 2017, she performed at the Cannes Film Festival as a guest artist for "Adventure of Humanity & World Peace Night" -a non-profit project started by Michael Jackson and Nelson Mandela. She has been invited to perform in countries including Turkey, Monaco, France, South Korea, and China, receiving acclaim from international dignitaries including the former Algerian ambassador.
In Japan, her work spans performances at Fuji Rock Festival, five-star hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt, choreography and performance for television and film (including Downtown DX, CDTV, and Sexy Tanaka-san), and collaborations with various artists.
Since 2015, she has produced original stage performances, taking on the roles of scriptwriter, director, and choreographer. Her shows, featuring a range of multidisciplinary artists, weave together dance, theatre, and music into poetic, dreamlike experiences. In 2025, she directed the debut anniversary live of Noriko Sakai-a star throughout Asia.
Inspired by her work on music direction for theatrical productions, she founded the band The Far East Orchestra. The group blends live performance and dance, drawing from Balkan, Gypsy, Arabic, and folk traditions, with appearances at events such as Tokyo Night Market and Misono Universe, presenting theatrical expressions throughout Japan.
While nurturing dancers to a professional level, she also empowers women of all ages and professions through classes that emphasize the healing power of belly dance—helping to foster self-esteem and inner beauty. Her studio, Exo Follies Studio, is highly regarded as a space for self-expression and mind-body liberation.
